The Sai Agri-Seva Camp, held at Sai Prema in Greece from December 22, 2023, to January 2, 2024, was a testament to the global reach of our community. It attracted 22 devotees from Poland, Lithuania, Denmark, Germany, and Greece, each bringing their unique perspectives and experiences. The program, designed to nourish both body and soul, began each day with a routine of meditation, Vedic recitation, devotional singing, and yoga, followed by a nutritious breakfast. The daily work program, a shared endeavor, included various physical farm chores like cutting back bushes, weeding, planting peas, and harvesting berries.

Attendees’ minds were enriched by an enlightening lecture on regenerative agriculture by Manos Karakostas, founder of the Mali-Veni Farm. George Bebedelis hosted a highly engaging study circle on the Bhagavad Gita and the intricate grammar of Sanskrit.

The camp provided a sumptuous lunch and extended lunch breaks so participants could enjoy the fantastic weather, the deep blue skies, and bright sunshine and explore the Mediterranean seashore. On Christmas Eve, participants attended a mass at a Greek Orthodox monastery. On New Year’s Eve, they spent the afternoon by the water.

The camp program featured a harmonious mixture of educational, devotional, and service activities that appealed to the head, heart, and hand.
