In October 2022, SSSIO volunteers planted 1,118 fruit trees in various government schools nationwide, including mango, litchi, paw paw, and spekboom. They also partnered with a local non-profit organization, Green Buddies, to remove more than half a ton of plastic, polystyrene, and other waste materials from a local mangrove.
