Zone 8 organized a ‘Serving the Needy Project’ during March 8-13, 2023. Over 150 volunteers from 37 Sai centers and groups from Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan joined the program with great joy, love, compassion, and dedication. Various freshly cooked food and delicious desserts were served with tea and coffee to 750 needy people at cathedrals, churches, elderly homes, and homeless shelters.
Recipients included low-income families, families with numerous children, people with disabilities, and retirees. Medicines and other essential items were also distributed. Recipients were grateful not only for the food but also for the volunteers’ love, warmth, and support. The volunteers dedicated the day filled with love and joy to their beloved spiritual leader Sri Sathya Sai Baba and expressed their gratitude to Him for the opportunity to serve.
