During the pandemic, several Sri Sathya Sai Centers in Los Angeles suspended their food delivery programs due to restrictions.
Despite these limitations, the volunteers partnered with the Los Angeles Food Bank, which distributes food to over 900,000 people yearly, to continue serving thousands in need.
Since October 23, 2021, SSSIO volunteers have continued to help the food bank pack 1,600 boxes of food, including spaghetti, cereal, vegetables, and other meals, every month.
