On May 7, 2022, SSSIO young adults from Trinidad & Tobago organized a multi-faith program, ‘Azaan – A Call to Prayer,’ to commemorate Eid-ul-Fitr at Sai Nilayam, the headquarters of SSSIO Trinidad & Tobago. The President of the Masjid ul Nur conducted Azaan, an Islamic call to prayer, at the program’s start and delivered a message commemorating Eid-ul-Fitr, the Muslim festival marking the end of the fast of Ramadan. He spoke to 60 attendees about the meaning of the various Qaseedas (Islamic songs) sung at the event.
