Between September 7 and November 23, 2020, the “Semillas de Amor” (Seeds of Love) project was organized as an offering of love to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba to commemorate His 95th Birthday. As part of this project, ten SSSIO coordinators, who had received advance training to care for plants, installed urban gardens in their homes. This project was designed to develop human values, such as patience, tolerance, sacrifice, and love, among the participants. It highlighted appreciation for organically-grown vegetables; eating chemical-free food, recycling, and the importance of ‘reuse and reduce’ in protecting the environment. The initiative also promoted family integration, reducing ecological footprint, and above all, recognizing the presence of God in Nature and strengthening the relationship between God and man, through Nature.
