In early March 2020, the SSIO of Kazakhstan organized the 5th National Conference on Education, with the theme, Unity is Divinity, Purity is Enlightenment. The conference opened with a talk on the significant role of teachers, which was followed by reports on the activities of the Education wing of the SSIO of Kazakhstan.
Participants also attended workshops and masterclasses on how to engage and work with parents, teachers and children through various stimulating activities. In one session, titled We play together, participants were shown how folk tales could be adapted to create games based on universal values. A workshop, titled Healthy Nutrition – the Foundation of a Healthy Nation, served as a great example of a public outreach event. The workshop ended with an enjoyable group dance involving the conference participants. At the end of the conference, participants were entertained with a play exemplifying the theme.
