On 17th December 2017, 21 members of the SSIO of Thailand and 17 guests brought Christmas cheer to upwards of 100 residents of the Good Shepherd Sisters Home. The volunteers served a dinner of pizza, potato fries, soup, noodles, Thai pudding, and ice cream to all the residents. On 24th December, another programme was organised by the SSIO. The evening began with devotional songs, followed by Christmas carols and dances presented by the young children. At midnight, a priest from a nearby church led the guests in prayer, welcoming Christmas Day.
