On 19th November 2016, members of the Sathya Sai Centres in the Dominican Republic, wearing badges proclaiming, “Love All, Serve All,” celebrated Sathya Sai Baba’s birthday by organising a medical camp to help the residents of Villa Progreso, a very poor community in Cotuì. Sathya Sai devotees have regularly helped low-income families in this community for several years. Four doctors and four nurses provided medical care and medicines to 125 adults and 87 children. The volunteers also served a vegetarian lunch during the medical camp and distributed food grains, sugar, and pasta to 110 families, baskets of savoury treats to 125 children, and clothing and shoes.
