The SSIO of New South Wales celebrated Guru Poornima with service. The youth conducted many projects, including a nursing home visit, food drive, tree planting, and organising a Life Skills programme for refugees and needy people. In July and August of 2015, Sathya Sai followers of all ages brought music and dancing to residents of seven nursing homes across Sydney to cheer up the residents. They packaged and distributed more than 2.8 tonnes of food to the House of Welcome and the Tregear community. The volunteers brightened the lives of refugees and disadvantaged people through creative arts, games, music, and inspirational talks.
