Medical camps are held for the impoverished residents of North-West Russia, where there is a lack of doctors and medical care facilities due to its remote location.In April 2014, eight Sathya Sai volunteers, including a gynaecologist, an endocrinologist, a psychologist, a medical assistant and two nurses, hosted a medical camp and provided medical care for 83 patients.
