Over 310 participants from Russia and six adjoining countries lovingly served food to more than 1,100 people in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Moldova and Kyrgyzstan. In addition to hot meals, fresh home-baked items, cookies and candy were distributed. Low-income families and people with disabilities were given food packages. Clothes, shoes, medicines and personal care products were also distributed to the needy. In some cities of Russia, volunteers also cleaned up areas near the food distribution sites.

In addition to distribution of food in Kiev, hygiene kits, medical supplies, socks and clothes, leaflets containing Bhagawan’s quotes and other information were also distributed. In the Odessa region, nearly 400 homes were recently damaged or destroyed due to heavy rains. Sathya Sai volunteers provided food and donated clothes, shoes, bedding and household items to the displaced people. In Poltava, Sathya Sai volunteers distributed food along with handmade heart-shaped cards, each containing one of Bhagawan’s quotations.
