Sathya Sai volunteers from various countries travelled to a low-income community in Siem Reap, Cambodia in early 2014 and helped to renovate and build a village school that provides free English classes and day care for needy children. On 23 November 2014, Sathya Sai volunteers visited two homes for the elderly in Tienmu where 40 elders were served. The seniors were visibly touched by the love shown by the volunteers. The Tama Sathya Sai group celebrated Bhagawan’s Birthday in Tokyo on 23 November 2014 with a four-hour devotional programme. In the afternoon, 108 names of Bhagawan were chanted, followed by a programme by the SSE children. Thereafter, the book, Sathya Sai Story, translated into Japanese for the first time, was offered at Bhagawan’s feet, and a student spoke, highlighting the Vedas as a treasure for humanity. Read More

On 13th July 2014, 15 Sathya Sai volunteers served a breakfast consisting of a banana, cheese sandwich, cake, cup of noodles, soya milk, tea and bottled water to 104 street-sleepers on Hong Kong Island. On 16th July 2014, six volunteers visited the Mongkok Senior Citizens Home, where 30 elder residents were served. Read More
In observance of Guru Poornima, Sathya Sai volunteers provided a local orphanage in Guangzhou with bananas, milk, cakes, daily necessities and wall fans for the summer season. They played and conversed lovingly with about 25 children. Around 35 Sathya Sai devotees also attended Bhajans at the Indian Community Center.
On 12th July 2014, Guru Poornima day, Sathya Sai volunteers visited a home for physically and mentally challenged children and distributed blankets, first aid supplies and medicated energy water to about 40 children. Read More
