Over 70 Sathya Sai devotees attended the Mahashivaratri celebrations in Cuba. The event commenced on the evening of 28th February 2014 with devotional songs, meditation and films about Bhagawan and lasted through the night. On 9th February 2014, 20 Sathya Sai volunteers, including 15 youth from the Bella Vista Sai Centre in Santo Domingo, cleaned up 500 square metres of a beach called Guibia, near Santo Domingo. The trash collected was removed by a truck.
