On 8th February 2020, more than 30 volunteers welcomed needy families and the elderly at the Baba House Center in Lopburi. The SSIO of Thailand has adopted the Lopburi community as part of the 95 Global Communities project and has brought much needed help to needy families. The volunteers packed 33 grocery bags with rice, oil, sugar, noodles, milk, cookies and diapers, and after chanting Buddhist prayers, Gayatri Mantra, and food prayers, distributed the bags to the indigent families. The needy families and the elderly were delighted, and the head of the community thanked the SSIO of Thailand. stating that this was the only organisation which helps them regularly and fulfils their day to day needs.
