SSIO volunteers have been serving the children of the Sathya Sai Pre-School at Rongamai, Otara, and three other neighbouring schools in Auckland. On 28th June 2015, ten volunteers from the Royal Oak Sathya Sai Centre in Auckland distributed 300 sandwiches, along with fruit, juice, chocolates, and other savouries to the school children. This programme, presently in its fourth year, is part of the SSIO of New Zealand’s national project for children. The children from this impoverished area are always happy to see the volunteers.
