On July 18, 2020, 13 SSIO volunteers joined 60 members of the Auckland Council, Manukau Beautification Trust, and the public in an environmental cleanup project. The group cleaned the surroundings, collected rubbish, and joined in painting projects and planting trees. The Tararata Stream Team also set up a booth, educating people about the importance of keeping our environment clean and sustainable for the benefit of society, other species, and the world.
