Winter Aid for Ukraine, Germany

Since September 2025, Sai devotees in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and the US have sent major winter aid to Ukraine’s civilians. Dutch donors first sent 100 boxes of winter clothing, followed by contributions from Austrian and German centers. A total of 300 boxes of clothing and blankets reached Ukraine by November. A partnership with the Südheide “Rural Women’s Association” added 305 boxes of blankets and bedding, delivered to Kyiv, Kharkiv, Kherson, Poltava, and Taranivka. When November’s energy-grid collapse left households with just 2–4 hours of power a day and temperatures as low as -30°C, SSSIO donations funded generators, wood stoves, gas stoves, sleeping bags, power banks, heaters, and USB-powered LED lamps that gave about 75 children light to study during the blackouts. The Kyiv Sai Center serves coffee, chocolate, blankets, and vitamins to 100–120 elderly people every week. The recipients’ gratitude was heartfelt: one mother wrote, “Now our children and we have a little light… May God protect you”; a person in Poltava called the blankets “a godsend”; and a person in Taranivka said the ongoing support gives them “courage and hope.”
