Between January and March 2026, the Sai Center of Santa Helena organized several service activities supporting elderly people in vulnerable conditions across Apulo, Funza, Soacha, and Bogotá. The project benefited 68 elderly individuals through visits to care homes and communities. Volunteers distributed food baskets and nutritious snacks, offered Ayurvedic medicine consultations and complementary therapies, provided hairdressing services, and organized recreational activities supporting physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. An infrastructure improvement project also upgraded an elderly residence in the Los Cerezos neighborhood of Bogotá, creating a safer environment for residents. Inspired by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s teaching that service to society is service to God, the initiative offered the elderly not only material support but also companionship and dignity.
