Over 300 Young Adults from Zones 4A and 4B (Asian Countries) attended a four-day retreat titled “FaithLift” in the sacred precincts of Prasanthi Nilayam from 14th to 17th May 2019. The opening ceremony in Sai Kulwant Hall showcased a Symphony that performed songs glorifying the divine in Sinhalese, Nepali, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin, Tamil, alongside an English theme song titled “FaithLift”. The retreat focused on Baba’s teaching: “Follow the Master, Face the Devil, Fight to the End, Finish the Game” which was expounded on by eminent speakers and panel members, and discussed during workshops. Additionally, a new sports event, called “Zonalympics” was held in the Sathya Sai Indoor Stadium. The participants were organised into teams called Sathya, Dharma, Shanti, Prema and Ahimsa and played badminton, basketball and volleyball. A Cultural Fest Exhibition showcased the traditions of the Asian countries of Zones 4A and 4B, while a programme on the “Sai-lent Experience” helped people reflect in the depths of silence. The retreat closed with a drama performance, expressing gratitude to Baba.
