On 16th February 2019, 23 volunteers from the Sai Study Group (SSG) Singaraja in Indonesia, including about 20 young adults, visited a school at Buleleng for children with special needs. The young adults conducted fun activities in Balinese language, since February was Local Language Awareness Month. Students recited poetry and sang songs in Balinese while the teachers performed a comedy skit. The students also read a poem titled “Angkihan Ban Nyilih” which had a sublime message: “Our life as a human being is a generous gift from God, which should be gratefully lived with a positive attitude.” At the end, the young adult volunteers led the students in singing a round of traditional children’s songs, and then distributed goody bags containing stationaries.
