On 30th March 2019, 20 SSIO volunteers dispersed grocery bags containing oil, rice, sugar, noodles, and milk to 18 needy families in the Lam Narai district in the eastern part of Lopburi Province of central Thailand. Since it was close to Songkran, a national holiday in honour of the Thai New Year, SSIO volunteers decided to observe the Thai tradition of seeking blessings from the elders. While distributing the groceries to the families, the volunteers offered their gratitude to the elders and received their blessings in return.
