Since 2013, young adults from the Karlsruhe Sathya Sai Centre have participated in the ‘Food for the Needy’ project, which has been life-saving for the homeless in this part of southern Germany. Based in the Diakonie (Door), a central hub for serving the poor and needy, this project is a collaboration between the SSIO of Germany and the Organisation of the Catholic Church. On 22nd April 2018, SSIO volunteers served a delicious lunch to the needy, after which the volunteers took the opportunity to sit down and interact lovingly with the people they had served.
