In December 2020 and January 2021, SSSIO members served the pensioners, people with special needs, and single-parent families with children with special needs, in three cities of Ukraine. With support from the SSSIO of Germany, SSSIO volunteers of Ukraine distributed food, medicines, and hygiene products to the disadvantaged. In addition, 18 families received a variety of dry food packages along with vegetables, fruits, chocolates, and household products. A package was also delivered to an indigent person living in a remote settlement.
