On 21st September 2018, drawings from numerous Sathya Sai Centres around the world were displayed, as part of the exhibition, titled Colours of Peace. The special event, held at the Colosseum in Rome, was organised to mark the United Nations International Day of Peace. It showcased over 5,000 drawings by children from 35 countries. The event also featured an award ceremony to recognise the winners of the Peace Movie Award, an international competition sponsored by the Italian Ministries of Education and Cultural Heritage. In this competition, schools around the world contributed short video clips, defining and celebrating peace from their own perspective. Mr. Bismark Nii Kojo Adjei, a Sathya Sai Young Adult from Ghana, was awarded the prestigious first prize in the open category.
