The ISSE of South Europe and the SSIO of Greece jointly held a series of seminars to introduce SSEHV to the general public. The free events were organised every Sunday in Sai Prema, near Athens, for a six-month period from November 2015 through May 2016. Consistent with the theme of the global SSIO Serve the Planet project for 2015, “Human Values in Nation Building,” these events included presentations, study circles, musical interludes, and lunch. The programme covered all five human values and concluded by extending the application of these values by focusing on selfless service. The events were attended by more than 200 people, half of whom were newly introduced to human values. In view of the success of these seminars, the programme is planned to be continued and expanded, this time over a nine-month period, from September 2016 to May 2017.
