The Tasmania Region of Zone 3, Australia, held its annual spiritual retreat from March 6–9, 2026, at the scenic Carnacoo Scout Camp on the Tamar River in northern Tasmania. Since it started in 1990, the retreat has been a cherished occasion for Sai devotees across the island to reconnect, strengthen friendships, and support those living far from the main Sai Centers. Focused on the theme “Your Life is My Message,” the retreat highlighted the importance of practicing spirituality through daily living and personal transformation.
Throughout the weekend, attendees participated in devotional activities including meditation, bhajans, group discussions, and reflections inspired by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings. Conversations focused on love, selfless service, and the three spiritual paths (bhakti, karma, jnana), encouraging participants to apply spiritual values in everyday lives. Mr. Vignesh Shanmugan, the National Council President of Australia, and his wife shared valuable insights and inspired meaningful discussions, while devotees shared personal experiences that deeply touched the group.

The retreat created a strong feeling of unity, supported by cheerful service, communal meals, and a relaxed cultural evening filled with music and laughter. A notable highlight was the acknowledgment of a devotee who was awarded an Introductory Certificate in Education in Human Values. The program came to a close by the scenic Tamar River, where participants took part in a symbolic exercise for welcoming spiritual growth.
