Since January 2019, SSIO volunteers from the Sathya Sai Centre of West Palm Beach in Florida, have been cleaning the Okeeheelee Park, a 1700-acre waterside park. Once a month, ten to fifteen Sai volunteers, including Sai Spiritual Education (SSE) children, walk around the lakes in the park, picking up plastic bags, water bottles, soda cans, and any waste materials dumped around the lakes and around the pavilions. This not only helps to clean up the natural environment but also protects animals from hazardous materials.
