On 20th June 2017, SSIO members from the Netherlands and Belgium brought food and supplies to a warehouse in Calais for further distribution to refugees seeking shelter in France. The volunteers supplied olive oil, kitchen rolls, herbs, salt, and coconut milk, along with clothing, sleeping bags, shoes, and hygiene items. Afterwards, SSIO members joined about 40 volunteers from the warehouse, who provide 1,000 meals every day from a soup kitchen, in serving meals to the displaced people.
