On 23rd June 2013, the SSIO of Switzerland organised the first Human Values Walk in the history of Switzerland, along the shores of the beautiful Lake Geneva. About a hundred people participated in this event, which was made possible by the efforts of 25 Sathya Sai volunteers, including youth. Five stations dedicated to the Human Values were constructed along the walk route, namely: Truth, Righteousness, Peace, Love and Nonviolence. Each participant was given a Human Values passport at the beginning and a gift at the end of the walk. The authorities in Geneva issued the permit for the event free of charge, which is rarely given. The local municipality even supplied tables and chairs and donated gifts for the participants.
