On 20th October 2013, volunteers from the Sathya Sai Centre of Mombasa served vegetable curry, cabbage, rice, fruit, cakes and fruit juice to 50 elderly guests and 25 staff at the Little Sisters of the Poor home in Tudor Nyumba ya Wazee, Tudor. Songs, mimicry and dances were organised to entertain the guests. On 19th October 2013, eye examinations were organised for the guests, and reading glasses and medications were distributed. An exercise bicycle was donated to the physio-therapy unit of the home. In addition, 50 sets of bedsheets with pillowcases, 50 towels and 70 pairs of rubber slippers were also distributed. The staff and residents of the Little Sisters of the Poor home were grateful for the services rendered lovingly.

The Bethsaida Home located at Korrompoi village in Kitengela, south of Nairobi, is a residential home for ladies 85 years old or older and those who are physically challenged. Twenty-five students, an alumnus, and two teachers from the Sathya Sai School, Kisaju, distributed food and supplies at the Bethsaida Home on 20th October, including blankets, rice, legumes, salt, oil, sugar and maize meal, along with fresh tomatoes, onions, cabbage and kale from the Sai school’s farm.
