Prayers for Peace 2026
The International Sai Young Adults Veda Program Team organized a Prayers of Peace initiative on March 14-15, 2026. Two live online sessions held to offer prayers for love, unity, healing, and peace for all humanity. Each 45-minute session included guided chanting of prayers such as the Gayatri mantra in Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s voice, Sai Gayatri, and the Vedic mantras including Ganapati Prarthana, Namakam and the 3rd Anuvaka of the Chamakam of Rudram, and other mantras. This was followed by Sarva Dharma prayers from different religions and a divine discourse by Swami emphasizing the importance of chanting the Lord’s Name and the vibrations which instill peace generated through such chanting. The sessions concluded with the universal prayer “samasta loka sukhino bhavantu.” Around 500 adults, Young Adults, and children participated in the two sessions.
