During September 23-24, 2023, a field trip was organized in Russia’s Volga-Ural Region for 25 participants, including 20 SSSIO members from six regional centers. The participants conducted various environmental projects across six cities, including garbage collection, mowing grass, removal of old run-down structures, watering trees, and planting raspberry bushes.

The participants enjoyed the service activities, relishing the camaraderie, pleasant weather, and tea parties at the conclusion of each activity. In one city, a Care for Nature lesson preceded the cleanup, including the chanting of prayers, storytelling, and discussions on the benefits of environmental care.

In another city, creative elements were included in the service project, like blindfolded nature drawings and games, along with a tea party.

Following the cleanup of a forest park in one city, the volunteers strolled in the autumn park, ending with devotional singing.

Everyone expressed gratitude and a sense of fulfillment for a meaningful day of service to Mother Earth. The volunteers dedicated their actions to God, grateful to be His instruments of love and care for the environment.
