On December 16, 2023, a special celebration was held at the Sai Mandir, Colombo, Sri Lanka, for 30 children from the Lady Ridgeway Hospital and their 17 families. It was indeed heartening to witness the genuine happiness emanating from every child as they participated in a delightful array of activities, including musical chairs, games, and various other fun activities. They were also treated to a magic show. The children received thoughtful gift packs containing essential school supplies, a water bottle, a lunch box, and shoes or a bag. In addition, their families were provided with dry ration packs to ease their burden during the festive season. Families facing unique challenges, such as single parents or larger families, were provided with two packs each. Furthermore, Sai volunteers lovingly prepared and served wholesome meals to people in need.
