In an act of compassion, the Birthing Kit Foundation (Australia) provides birthing kits and education in clean birthing practices for mothers giving birth at home in remote regions. The kits reduce infections at high-risk moments during labor, birth, and immediately post-birth for the mother, newborn, and birth attendant. The SSSIO of Australia has generously supported the foundation for several years by delivering supplies and packing individual kits for distribution. On June 25, 2023, 25 members from the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Melbourne cheerfully assembled 250 kits. The positive energy and love the volunteers poured into packing each kit was palpable, and their feedback was heartfelt, given the very worthy cause.
