In Kiev, six SSSIO volunteers brought cheer and hope to 20 elderly and lonely people in three villages. They lovingly prepared and gave them rations. In addition to serving the elderly, the volunteers also came across a young social worker who cared for the elderly in the village. However, this person had no relatives and was raising three young children. To show their appreciation, the SSSIO volunteers gave a grocery package to the social worker.
