On November 23, 2020, the Sri Sathya Sai Centre of Toowoomba, near Brisbane, celebrated Baba’s 95th birthday with an enriching program. A beautiful altar was set up with many ‘Go Green’ decorations and floral elements. Sai Spiritual Education (SSE) children lovingly prepared a hand-written card and presented devotional songs. Certificates were awarded to the SSE children for participation. SSSIO volunteers also packed hygiene and grocery hampers for ‘Mission Australia’ to support local refugees and migrants.

On November 29, 2020, the Sri Sathya Sai Centre of Toowoomba celebrated Ladies Day and organized a Family Fun Day at the park. Seniors from the local community joined and enjoyed the morning tea ceremony, discussions on the significance of Ladies Day, and fun and games with the SSE children. The SSE children sang for the elders, entertained them with jokes and presented a game of ‘environmental charades’ to share their knowledge of Mother Nature. During the event, a member from ‘Mission Australia’ thanked the Sri Sathya Sai Centre of Toowoomba for supporting the local refugees and migrants throughout the year. The children handed out handcrafted bookmarks with drawings and inspirational quotes to thank the community for their support. The children then played a series of fun human values games, including a treasure hunt, can toss, and musical chairs with topics such as, ‘Ceiling on Desires’, ‘Happiness is Union with God’, and ‘WATCH (watch your Word, Action, Thought, Character, and Heart)’.
