During winter, Montreal experiences frigid temperatures which can be dangerous. However, it did not stop SSIO members from serving the needy in honour of the 94th Birthday of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Twelve Sathya Sai Young Adults assembled 28 care packages containing winter hats, gloves, and socks, and inspiring hand-written notes. They delivered the care packages to the homeless and also served them hot coffee and fresh sandwiches. The recipients were happy to find notes such as “Smile, You are beautiful”, “Today is a gift”, “Be happy, never give up, there is always someone who cares” in the care package and expressed their gratitude.
