The Cincinnati-Dayton Sathya Sai Centre organised a Human Values Fest (HVF) on 29th April 2018 at the Kennedy Heights Arts Centre in Cincinnati, Ohio. Modelled after the first Human Values Festival held in Austin, Texas, this family-centred community event focused on promoting human values through creative arts and music. About 100 people, including local community leaders, participated in creative arts workshops, listened to inspiring speakers and were entertained by hip-hop artist Nimo and his band, Empty Hands. The highlight of the day was a wonderful poster presentation by children that focused on what they had learnt during a 30-day Human Value Practice Challenge held before the festival. High school students shared their experiences in organizing and participating in high-impact community service projects.
