On 19th October 2017, a conference on the environmentally friendly use of plastics was organised in Latina by SSIO volunteers. Over 90 enthusiastic participants, including 70 members of the public, attended the conference. Among ISSE delegates and distinguished speakers, the event featured students from two local high schools who presented their research on this topic. An ISSE delegate further spoke about life as a journey from ‘I to We’ and about the need for practicing ceiling on desires as a means of environmental protection.
