At the end of March 2026, the SSSIO of Zone 8 held its 24th Education Conference. Conducted in the year of Swami’s 100th Birthday, the Conference was a loving gift to Swami. It was attended by 211 members of the Organization from 58 centers across seven countries of Zone 8: Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, and Ukraine. The theme of the Conference was “Sathya Sai Spiritual Education Reveals Love in the Heart,” with the motto, “God is Love. Develop Love for God in Children.”
The Conference began with a welcome speech by the Chairman of the Zonal Education Council. National and regional coordinators of the Education Wing then presented reviews of educational activities in Zone 8 during 2025. This was followed by presentations from 22 SSE teachers, who shared their experiences on a variety of topics.
In addition, an experienced teacher from Kazakhstan conducted a master class on Sathya Sai Education. The participants then engaged in a group activity called “Tree of Knowledge,” which was conducted in five session halls. Teachers reflected on what they most wished to learn and wrote these aspirations on the branches of the tree, while the roots were filled with the qualities they believed would support them in their pursuits. All participants enthusiastically completed the activity and later shared the fruits of their discussions with everyone. Inspiring videos prepared by the countries and regions of SSSIO Russia were also shown.
One participant from Belarus described feeling divine energy uniting everyone in a stream of joy that transformed the space with golden light, calling Bhagawan’s teaching “an extraordinary miracle” that brings inner spiritual alignment. The conference closed with a group prayer for harmony, peace, and the shared pursuit of knowledge.
