A Mother and Child Project was rolled out across two communities in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, bringing holistic medical, educational, and spiritual care to hundreds of mothers and children. The first camp was held on June 8, 2025, in the Shakaskraal community, identified as an area of need as it is far from the nearest clinic. The camp served 36 mothers and 53 children, offering eye screening, pediatric care, dental care, and social services. The African Institute of Sathya Sai Education (AISSE) conducted parenting and bead-making workshops, while the Go Green Team planted a variety of fruit and indigenous trees, including Spekboom, Mango, Lemon, Avocado, and Pawpaw.

The second camp was held on August 9, 2025, at the Newcastle Sai School, serving 99 mothers and 107 children. SSSIO-SA partnered with the African Eye Institute to conduct vision screening, dispense spectacles to 53 children and 9 educators, and issue referral letters for severe cases. Dental examinations and hygiene talks were also given. AISSE members led parenting workshops and interactive activities, with children showcasing their talents through songs and drumming. The Umkomaas Region Sathya Sai Kitchen prepared meals infused with the loving energy of bhajans and Vibhuti for over 250. Seva hampers and hygiene packs were distributed to all mothers and children, and the Go Green Team planted succulents and created a beautiful garden.
