The 13th Winter Family Camp was held in the Ural region of Russia in January 2026, bringing together 18 participants from five local groups, including seven children. Themed Trust is the Foundation of Friendship, the camp explored the deeper spiritual truth that true friendship reflects our connection with the one Atma residing in all, rooted in the year’s central theme, God is Love!

The camp was structured around a playful ‘end-of-year exam’ storyline, through which children engaged with Swami’s teachings across a range of creative activities. These included learning Sanskrit mantras, practicing yoga, exploring SSSIO’s ten guiding principles, solving math problems inspired by the Ramayana, and identifying bhajans, with one child guessing a bhajan from a single note! A highlight was the Best Friend game, in which children were paired and tasked with caring for each other throughout the day. Participants naturally set aside their own needs and discovered the joy of selfless service. Evening gatherings featured concerts, parables on friendship and trust, bhajan singing, and a joyful New Year’s celebration with Santa Claus. Creative workshops in embossing produced angels, Sarva Dharma symbols, and Om mandalas. The camp closed with heartfelt gratitude to Swami.
