In early June 2025, the SSSIO launched the ‘Active Summer 2025’ spiritual and wellness project across Zone 8. More than 330 people, including 65 children from 48 cities in Russia and nearby countries, participated in this joyful event that brought members together in nature to serve, connect with each other, and grow spiritually.

In different regions of Russia, including the Volga-Ural, Ural, Siberia, Caucasus, Central, and Southern areas, volunteers cleaned forests, parks, riversides, and neighborhoods. They planted trees and flowers, fed people in need, and cared for animals. Children enjoyed games, nature lessons, and fun, creative activities like crafts and drawing.

In the Central region, SSSIO members visited a nursing home and shared fruits, homemade pies, songs, and gifts with the elderly. Despite some rainy weather in certain places, participants gathered under shelters, sang bhajans, and enjoyed being together.

In Kyrgyzstan, volunteers cleaned a city park. In Azerbaijan, the day was dedicated to the establishment of the first Sai group in the country. In Moldova, Belarus, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan, the volunteers cleaned natural surroundings, held spiritual discussions, planted flowers, and organized tea gatherings and children’s activities.

Every act of service, no matter how small, was filled with love and care for nature and others. The day was full of happiness, togetherness, and gratitude to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
