On July 20, 2024, the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Detroit Metro joined the residents, businesses, religious organizations, and many others in the Farmington community in Michigan to commemorate the bicentennial year of its Founders Festival. This year marked the fifth time Sai Center members have participated in the Founders Festival Parade. Joining the parade was a wonderful opportunity to raise the profile of the SSSIO in the community.
During the parade, SSSIO members, including SSE children, carried signs displaying human values. They also joyously sang English songs with positive messages, uplifting everyone and promoting the spirit of friendship, love, respect, tolerance, and unity within the community. Through their participation, SSSIO members strengthened their ties with the community.
