A weekend retreat for women’s health and spiritual rejuvenation was organized by the Ladies Wing of the SSSIO New Zealand from May 26 to 28, 2023, at the Waitetuna Retreat Center in a serene and secluded valley in North Island. It was attended by 30 ladies.

The program included sharing experiences with Sri Sathya Sai Baba, as well as sound advice from the seniors for the female young adults. The attendees were rejuvenated by mindfulness meditation, outdoor walks, a yoga session, and an informative session on women’s health. The ladies also had fun demonstrating their artistic talents through values-based dances, skits, and songs. A session on Hope and Healing with Swami allowed everyone to identify the obstacles in their spiritual path and meditate and pray for their spiritual progress. In the end, everyone received a bracelet with an encouraging word engraved in it. At the closing, everyone formed a circle while holding onto a cord, representing their bond of love and unity with each other.

All attendees felt energized with positive vibrations of love and unity. The Ladies Wing intends to have another similar retreat in the summer.
