On June 18, 2023, six SSSIO volunteers from the Prema Dhaara Sai Center in South Africa collected over 200 blankets, mattresses, and food hampers containing spice packs, detergent packs, clothing, hygiene packs, and water. The volunteers partnered with the Gift of Givers Foundation, a local organization, to deliver these supplies to residents of an informal settlement in Rietfontein, Pretoria, that had partially burned down in a fire.
