Ten volunteers in Hamilton participated in a local tree planting program to rehabilitate the wetlands around a local park. Amid the bright sunshine, the volunteers did their part in preserving Mother Nature by planting various trees such as harakeke (flax), ti kouka (cabbage tree), kowhai, manuka, karamu, totara, and kahikatea in the course of a few hours.
