The Sri Sathya Sai Center of North San Diego has regularly organized “Coming Clean” service projects, where hygiene kits are provided to the homeless and those living in shelters, with help of local organizations. Each family from the Center packaged an individual kit – a large Ziploc bag containing toothpastes, toothbrushes, shampoos, socks, soaps, wash cloths, razors, and deodorants along with face masks and t-shirts. SSE students also helped by inserting cards, containing messages of love and encouragement into the hygiene kits, and prayed for everyone’s welfare. Everyone was happy to witness the smiles of joy among the homeless upon receiving these kits.
