On Easter Day in 2021, volunteers from the Sri Sathya Sai Centre Bhavan distributed personal hygiene packages to more than seventy-five residents of the Evi and Simbha retirement homes in the Commewijne district. Thee volunteers also distributed non-perishable food, clothes, and other necessities such as dishwashing soap and disinfectant. Everyone enjoyed offering of fruit, snacks, and refreshments. Both the volunteers and the residents were happy for the opportunity to interact, while observing local Covid-19 regulations.
